Storm (Marvel, X-MEN)

Storm from the X-Men. I'm happy with how this one turned out. I think Storm is a cool character, although I feel that in movie and cartoon media she could benefit from more characterization. Wolverine (one of my favorites) overshadows most of the team, and while I still want additional stories about him, I want the other X-Men to get some love, too.
I made 3 versions to try out different color palettes. One challenge is that when working with dark colors you can lose your linework. So her white costume contrasts her dark skin well, but the black costume kind of blends. So I need to study some other artists and see how they portray dark colors together well.

Thanks for viewing. I will draw more X-Men in the future, and as it is Black History Month, I think my first Black Panther will have to show up sometime this month, as well as at least one or two other black superheroes.
