Wolverine in Paris

This piece was inspired by a drawing by one of my favorite artists, Jim Lee. While drawing this I realized that Wolverine's red/brown and yellow costume is not just a recolor of the blue and yellow one. This is actually the line work for the blue costume with the coloring of the red one. That wasn't intentional but I didn't realize until I was well along; I think it came out looking alright though. Also, I went with a new shading technique. I'm still early in developing my shading skills. The background is just a quick sketch I did while referencing Lee's artwork. I'm working to improve my backgrounds.
