The Flood Redesign Concept (Halo)

I was thinking about the Flood from Halo and wanted to draw a design that makes them creepier. Personally I do not like too much gore, and when I started playing Halo I was a kid so the fact Flood had green blood and weren't too disturbing made it more welcome for younger gamers. So, I'm not saying the Flood should be more like this, I just thought of a grotesque design and went ahead and drew it. I wanted to capture the fact that the Marine was sad and in pain, and his body has morphed into a husk controlled by tentacles.
I don't usually draw this stuff and I honestly don't like zombies, but it can be fun as an artist to leave your comfort zone sometimes and draw something you might never draw usually.
