This is the newest version of my orc girl original character, Xulna (pronounced Zull-nuh). She is from a fantasy story I am working on called "The Forever Fire." It's been a while since I've added to this set of characters. As you can see, she looks drastically different. I wanted to make her look more like my own take on orcs, rather than copying the typical orc. I kept her signature blue hair, but now she has dreadlocks because I think they look cool. She is a little bit smaller and more feminine, but still muscular. Rather than just standing there, I tried to give her a pose to give the art some life. I tried out a new shading technique here, too. Overall, I'm happy with the new design and excited to continue working on this character.
- What is the Forever Fire?
The Forever Fire is an all new, illustrated short story I am working on that follows a group of friends fighting against evil in a high fantasy world full of magical creatures.
- When is the Forever Fire expected to be complete?
Well, that's a tricky question. I've recently completed making a "lore bible" type document, covering all the things about that world. As far as writing the actual story about those characters going on adventures, that will take some time. I have a couple of projects that are first in line. But I will definitely share more content for the Forever Fire soon.
