Batwing & Wonder Girl (Luke Fox, Donna Troy)

This one was fun and unexpected. I knew I wanted to do one male and one female today, so I did the first two superheroes that came to mind, Batwing and Wonder Girl. I don't know a whole lot about Wonder Girl, so I basically used the Wonder Woman costume and drew a woman that looked like she could exist on Themyscira. I considered the skirted costume but elected not to use it because I think seeing Batwing's hand worked better in this instance. (For clarity, they're hugging each other, probably after defeating a tough villain)

For Batwing, I wanted the suit to be along the lines of the Batman Beyond suit, but with a much bigger body inside of it.
This pose was a challenge for me which is why I'm glad I did it, the sketch phase had a LOT of erasing but the end result is one of the better poses I have done. Batwing is a lesser known comic character but I think I made him look cool. As for Wonder Girl, I realize my version doesn't really depict that character as she has been portrayed, but I made it my own.
I still need to work on backgrounds. Here I wanted to go for a "sunset" feel, it worked okay.
