Zero-Suit Samus

Samus Aran from the Metroid games and Super Smash Bros.
I decided to leave this one with flat colors. I tried lots of poses in the sketch stage, and she was usually facing forward. But by rotating her and making her, the pose is more dynamic. I'm super happy with how this one came out, I think that when I actually take the time to focus I can make proportions look good. One problem I have with drawing women is unintentional asymmetry, but I think this came out mostly symmetrical. Another issue is that I tend to draw women with tiny joints (mostly elbows and knees), but here I went with a much more realistic proportion and I think it looks so much better. I also wanted a more realistic bust-line that is affected by gravity and her clothing, so overall I am pleased with this piece.
